SUPPORT THE QUEST! For Historic Justice for the Royal House of Newland.

We really need your kind support with our family's quest which has been going on for generations; which is to have our family name (the Royal House of Newland) rightfully included into the published records of the British peerage so everyone can learn the truth about why my ancestor Prince John de Moravia, Master of Sutherland was cruelly written out of history; all because he married for love he lost the throne of Scotland and the Earldom of Sutherland. (The whole story is too long to explain here but it can be found on the Kingdom of Newland website). History states that Prince John died of the plague in 1361 but this statement is actually false and the 'Powers That Be' know it, ultimately denying the British people of their right of this important piece of historic information! In the past this fake statement of John's death was used by the Stewart monarchs as a means to remove any of John's heirs and descendants from political influence and to quell any rumors that Prince John's bloodline survived. The truth is that John did not die of the plague, but instead had his name changed to William Newland and hence he became the first Sovereign Lord of the Royal House of Newland. For the last 650+ years we the Sovereign Lords Newland have remained in a state of quarantine to live in obscurity (that is why nobody has heard of us) and live in the UK as a independent sovereign entity. We are Free British Royalty completely separate to the Royal House of Windsor, and as such we are not funded by the British Tax payer. With no aid or Sovereign Grant we exist as an impoverished state relying on our own ingenuity and the grace of God to survive. Though over the generations we have made numerous attempts to petition the establishment and have now logged our family tree with both Lyon Court and the College of Arms, yet the House of Newland still remains the casualty of historic injustice excluded from the published pages of the British peerage. We understand that history cannot be rewritten overnight but footnotes should be added to make the necessary corrections. Therefore, we propose that the statement stating Prince John, the Master of Sutherland in 1361, 'Died of the Plague', should have the additional following sentence. 'However, it is now established that he survived; changed his name to William Newland, and it is from him that the Independent Free Royal Sovereign Lords Newland (The Sovereign Lords of Scotland) are descended'. The British people deserve this freedom of information! Until then it is our moral obligation to inspire historians to acknowledge and tell our full story.  Please kindly show your support for the quest by signing this petition. Every signature is so very important to this quest and we really appreciate it! Thank you!

RESTORE THE ARAL SEA!

Dear Friends

New Year's Day 2022 was the UK's warmest start to the year on record with a high of 16.2°C recorded in St James's Park, London, breaking the previous record of 15.6°C set in Bude Cornwall, in 1916. This unseasonably high temperature is just yet another example of the continuing trend of record breaking warmer temperatures experienced all over the world, with the last seven years being the warmest yet; all believed caused by the global warming phenomenon. According to the Climate Action Tracker group the global temperature will rise by 2.7°C by the end of the century with current policies. The temperature will rise by 2.4°C if only the pledges for 2030 are implemented, by 2.1°C if the long-term targets are also achieved and by 1.8°C if all the announced targets are fully achieved. Basically what this means is that global warming will continue, which means more frequent extreme weather conditions and a speeding up of ice melt from the polar ice caps and glaciers. (Perhaps).
Sea Level Rise (SLR) alone will affect countless populations causing trillions upon trillions of dollars of damage with major impacts on urban centres such as London, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Mumbai, Shanghai, Dhaka and many more, not to mention the possible loss of nations such as the Marshall Islands, Tuvalu and even much of Bangladesh. It's now the time for us to think outside the box to solve this problem! I therefore propose a new plan of action that will go some way to slow and reduce Sea Level Rise and that is to restore the Aral Sea!
The Aral Sea was once a huge inland sea in central Asia which was the forth largest sea in the world covering an area of 68,000 km2 (26,300 sq mi). It began to dry up in the 1960's when the Soviets diverted the rivers that fed the Aral Sea, for the irrigation of cotton crops. The Aral Sea catastrophe is an environmental disaster in it self which has largely been forgotten. However out from the Aral Sea disaster comes our opportunity to slow down and reduce the expected Sea Level Rise disaster. What I propose is for the construction of a pipeline from the Black Sea to the dried up Aral Sea basin and pump sea water to refill the old Aral Sea. It doesn't take a genius to realize that if you take water out of the ocean that it will reduce its overall volume. What's more once the Aral Sea is restored it will return the local weather patterns to the region and this will undoubtedly have a knock on effect at helping to stabilise the rest of the world's weather too! Plus once the ecological systems are re-established, plankton will absorb CO2 out from the atmosphere and help reduce the rate of global warming. I therefore with this open letter call upon your support to sign my petition on the official UK's parliament petition website, to call for the government to seriously consider my suggestion and organize an environmental conference with other Heads of State and marine and climate scientists to restore the Aral Sea.
Of course there are many problems to overcome, not just the planning and construction of such a monumental project but also the many political challenges and tensions that exist between nations in the region. The engineering know how already exists, so if the politicians can rise above such indifferences and engage in committed dialogue and work together on this pipeline which would thus serve as a symbol of peace and hope between nations, then it might just be the thing to give the world extra time to prepare for the environmental catastrophe that is predicted to come. Your support is needed! Make it happen, please sign the petition today!

Yours Sincerely

H.R.H. Lord Robert Newland

  • THE PETITION
  • Organize an international environmental conference aimed at restoring the Aral Sea.
  • I want the Government to start talks with climate and marine scientists and Heads of State to take action on Sea Level Rise (SLR). This conference should explore the potential construction of a pipeline from the Black Sea to pump water to the dried up Aral Sea basin to restore the Aral Sea, which should reduce the effects of SLR.
  • SLR will affect countless populations causing potentially trillions of dollars of damage. Cutting greenhouse gasses will only go so far. I propose a new plan of action to slow and reduce SLR by restoring the Aral Sea! It doesn't take a genius to realize that if you take water out of the ocean that it will reduce its overall volume. Once the Aral Sea is restored it should help stabilize global weather patterns and also absorb CO2 from the atmosphere thereby slowing global warming, climate change and SLR.

UPDATE: Petition to Restore the Aral Sea - Ongoing!

Lord Newland's petition of 2022 to the UK Parliament, calling for international action to 'Restore the Aral Sea', was regrettably unsuccessful. The cause of its failure was partly because of the current events unfolding in Ukraine and partly due to mainstream UK media apathy, unwilling to promote the petition prior the outbreak of conflict. Environmental organizations too, though supportive of the petition were unable to help promote it due to their no independent petitions promotion policy. This is of course most disappointing and means that this chance to restore climate conditions, without the urgency to remove oil usage, along with the added benefits it would have brought in peace the good relations between Russia and the West is now lost to us. Preserving the environment and eco systems that sustain life on Earth is important to everyone, but without peace and good diplomatic relations between the West and Russia to work together on this project to explore the potential construction of a pipeline from the Black Sea to pump sea water to the dried up Aral Sea basin to thereby restore the Aral Sea, and thus reduce the possible on coming effects of Sea Level Rise (SLR) a result of so called 'climate change', it is now very unlikely that it will ever happen. But yet in all this foreboding gloom there is still a tiny glimmer of hope as we are still running the petition on the Change.org website which anyone can sign world wide! Show your support and sign it today!
