Unicorn Moon 2024 - Observing the Magic!
The Unicorn Moon on the 23rd April 2024 was observed far and wide across the world. Many of our members took the opportunity to look up into the night sky to observe the annual Luna event which is fast becoming a fun and popular custom for grownups and children alike; some making wishes or taking photos, and some just taking the time to enjoy the full moon in all its splendor. The full moon of April was so named the Unicorn Moon, in 2023 as part of the third anniversary celebrations of the Order of the Unicorn, and to also inspire people everywhere to put down their phones for a few minutes to observe and take an interest in the night sky. Photos of the Unicorn Moon were kindly sent in by our honoured Princesses, Serenitie-Love Truehart M.U. C.C.U and Trinitie-Heaven Truehart M.U. C.C.U who had fun observing the Unicorn Moon at Neds Point Lighthouse, Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, USA after competing in a dance competition; and Alanna Breault M.U. who observed it from her garden in Orlando, Florida, USA. The next Unicorn Moon will be 13th April 2025. Mark it in your diaries!

Celebrating International Unicorn Day 2023!
Get ready for the next Unicorn Moon. |
Members of the noble Order of the Unicorn were proudly flying the Unicorn flag over the Easter weekend as this year it coincided with the Unicorn Moon and also International Unicorn Day, which is held annually on 9th April. This year was extra special as it marks the third anniversary of the Order of the Unicorn's absolute establishment that was done in accordance to convention and etiquette by the official enshrinement of the Order's honourable Code of Chivalry, which was certified by Royal Proclamation upon National Unicorn Day 2020. To mark this special anniversary the full moon of April was proclaimed with the new name of 'Unicorn Moon' as voted by the elite knights and ladies of the Unicorn in February 2023. This newly announced moon name sits well along side the more traditional April moon names of Seed Moon and Pink Moon and in time may become just as popular.

Her success on the stage was soon noted which led to her appearing in TV documentaries world wide, including an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras where her pageant life began. She has been featured in many magazines including an exclusive in National Geographic and has also had her photos featured in several pageant calendars; appearing on the cover a number of times! She has even had an exhibition in Israel! Pageant titles are great fun but Mehayle is truly delighted to have gained this title of a noble chivalric order too! She was so happy to receive the Order of the Unicorn and become the order's proto princess that she had to let us know by sending us this splendid photo of herself wearing one of her sparkling pageant crowns, proudly presenting her certificate. Thank you so much Mehayle and thank you to your mother ShariLynne for sharing all this with us. We really appreciate it! We wish you well in all that you do. Good Luck with your next pageant!
