Welcome to our memorial page which features the graves, epitaphs and funerals of those members of the Royal House of Newland who are sadly no longer with us but remain forever in our hearts.

Prince Arthur Henry Newland is remembered with honour upon the Thiepval War Memorial in France. He served 
with the 1st/19th Bn London Regiment and was killed in action at the Battle of the Somme, 2nd October 1916, age 24.

The Honourable Corry Heard Newland, son of Prince George Newland and Lady Emma Davey and cousin of Prince Arthur Henry Newland, 
is remembered with honour upon the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial in France. He served with the 25th Bn Australian Infantry and died
age 28, of battle wounds while being transported home to Australia. He was buried with horours at sea off the Cape of Good Hope.


The grave of our beloved Honourable Lady, Princess Henrietta Basford of the House of Newland
who sadly passed away on 23rd July 1924 age 24 years. Acton Cemetery London.

His Majesty King George V was reputedly in attendance at  the funeral of HRH Sovereign Lord Newland King William VI.
